Meet our Activities Co-Ordinator

In this blog, we’d like to introduce you to our Activities Co-ordinator, Becky Grove

A typical day for Becky involves greeting each of our residents, and visiting them in their rooms. She then spends her time arranging enjoyable and stimulating activities for our residents, including planning visits, events and workshops from groups and individuals visiting the home, as well organising trips out.

As Maesbrook’s residents have varying needs and abilities, Becky takes the time to get to know each new resident and their families, as well as their likes and dislikes, so that she can tailor activities and events to suit their individual requirements wherever possible.

Many of you already know me but if not my name is Becky, I have been on the care at Maesbrook for six years, I decided to change rolls to activities so I could bring joy back to the building I hope you will all agree that this has happened. I love seeing all the smiles and having the time to sit and talk with the residents.
