Telford Exotic Zoo
And we're back.
Sorry for the silence, so let's kick it off with a good one
If you had the pleasure of being in the home last week, you would have got to see some of the most beautiful and bizarre animals. We had the Telford Exotic Zoo in and they were amazing.
The residents loved engaging with the animals (some more than others).
The young man that brought them along was wonderful. He ensured everyone got a chance to see the lovely animals and he was knowledgeable about everything he was asked. Taking his time to ensure the resident could understand what he was saying and giving them time to ask all the wanted to know.
So we started of with something little a milliped and the little legs felt like velcorw
Colin was like a different man when the animals came out he had so many questions and just wanted to love on everything.
Ruth just thought everything was so cute !
So Sheila wasn't impressed when Becky woke her up with a Bug on her hand lol
Next we went to what you many think is a hedgehog but in actual fact is a Tenrec and OMG it was soooooo cute. Gill very really comes to the lounge but if there is animals around she's the first one there.
I think at this point Colin and myself (Becky) just wanted to steal all the animals.
Bit of a hop now over to a beautiful tree frog. He sat so lovely on everyone's hand.
Keith wasn't impressed with Ann I think that a bit to close for his liking ha
Christen loved all the animals but the frog was her favourt . She was asking to hold him as soon as he came out.
Ahh look at Eileen holding the frog so still. Its amazing how animals can bring a person out of them selves. e
Next up is what a few people thought was a coconut but it definitly wasent. This is a three-banded armadillo and omg he was so heavy.
Ah there he is out of the safety of his ball shape
Funny looking animal but it is said there the were created by the gods to teach a lesson in humiliation.
Yet again Christen was besotted with the odd looking fella.
